At Central Virginia Appraisal Service, we have completed appraisals for estate settlement purposes
that include residential property, large land tracts, and commercial property. Presented here are a
few examples of the kind of estates we have appraised.

The property is located on Dividing Creek
in Northumberland County near the town
of Kilmarnock. It included a well-constructed
older residence, plus surplus with waterfront
on two sides. The estate had been held by the
same family for several generations.
The estate was three tracts of forestland in
Cumberland County that totaled 432-acres.
The property is near Trice Lake, and creeks
and flood hazard areas were among the
characteristics that needed to be addressed
in the estate appraisal.
The car dealership in Henrico County was part of
a large estate that included retail property and
commercial land.
This was an estate appraisal of a condominium
office building located near Henrico Courthouse.
The small office building included a finished
basement level that was partially above grade.
Although a relatively small office building, it was
multi-tenant. It is in the town of Callao in
Northumberland County.
This is actually the back side of a house on Riverside
Drive in Richmond. From the front, one can see that
it is a ranch design. Although the house is at grade
in the rear, the lower level is technically a basement
and must be analyzed accordingly in the appraisal.
The property has a view of the James River.
